Betty R. "Ruth" Roley BLOOMINGTON - Betty R. "Ruth" Roley, age 90, formerly of Bloomington, passed peacefully in April after a brief illness. Ruth was born in December of 1933, at the family farm in rural Minonk. She married Wayne Roley in June of 1952. Ruth is survived by three children: Debbie (Joe) Sullivan of Forsyth, Lori Roley-Moews of Bloomington, and Jeff (Shelley) Roley of Champaign; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Edmona Lohr; brother, Cliff Ioerger; grandson, Scott Moews; and close friend, Joan Miller. Ruth was a dedicated member of Centennial Christian Church. Ruth and Wayne were longtime members of The Elk's Club and Lakeside Country Club. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, (Ruth and Wayne's anniversary).
