Sondra Kay Cooprider February 8, 1941 - June 22, 2024 DECATUR - Sondra Kay Cooprider, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away on June 22, 2024. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Long Creek, IL. Memorials in Sondra's honor may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Sondra was born in Decatur, IL, on February 8, 1941, to Howard and Nellie (Pilcher) Atteberry. Sondra married Michael Vern Cooprider on June 20, 1959, and recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. She is survived by her loving husband; daughter, Leanna Lindsey (Phillip); son, Richard Cooprider; grandchildren: Michelle and Brendan; along with her brother, Dennis Atteberry. Sondra retired from Illinois Power as a Corporate Secretary after 33 years. She was a faithful member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church
