Edwin E. Ridgeway March 20, 1933 - Aug. 16, 2024 KINCAID - Edwin E. Ridgeway, 91, of Kincaid, formerly of Mt. Auburn and Roby, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Ed was born on March 20, 1933, in Mt. Auburn, IL, the son of Luther and Josephine (Prior) Ridgeway. He married Mary Lou Powers and they shared 66 years together before her passing in 2020. After working for the Wabash Railroad as a Motor Grader Operator, Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He then went to work for Caterpillar for 30 years until he retired at the age of 50. After his retirement, Ed owned a tow truck, garbage truck, and sold car parts with his brother, Bob. He was an avid fisherman his whole life. Ed is preceded in death by his parents; son, David Ridgeway; brothers: Bob and Jim Ridgeway; sisters: Pauline Knowles and Doris Butler.
