DossettFebruary 14, 1959 - March 26, 2025Linda Sue (Berner) Dossett, of Oreana, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, surrounded by her family and best friends.Linda was born February 14, 1959, to Carl (Al) and Shirley (Hardy) Berner in Decatur, Ill. She graduated from Pana Community High School in 1977 and went to Western IL University and Lake Land Community College. Linda began her career at Murphy, Jenny, and Jones Accounting, then Essex-Wire, before her 28-year career at ADM in telecommunications.She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Dossett on Oct. 10, 1981. He survives along with children, LeAnn (Nick) DeVore of Decatur and Brian Dossett (Cindy) of Alton; grandchildren, Mason DeVore (Decatur), Royce Dossett and Jack Dossett (Alton), brothers Mike (Marla) of Pana and Larry (Sue) of Tower Hill; sisters-in-law, Sue (Stan) Bockewitz of Kewanee and Sandy (Larry) Beyers of Oconee.Being called 'Mimi' by her grandchildren was her favorite.
